NEW CLUBHOUSE, RESTAURANT AT BEAVER CREEK GOLF CLUB

Last summer, Beaver Creek Golf Club introduced a new clubhouse and restaurant. The completely renovated clubhouse features The Rendezvous Club offering brunch and lunch selections from a new menu. The clubhouse is also available for weddings and corporate groups. Guest locker space will be available in the new golf shop. Players will find all new bunkers, golf carts and cart paths. A short layout challenges golfers with elevated tees and narrow fairways, offering views of Beaver Creek Mountain and luxurious private homes.  Signature programs include Women’s Week, Beat the Pro and Junior Golf Clinic Series.

The 6,750-yard Robert Trent Jones, Jr.- designed 18-hole championship course is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary and ranks among Golf Digest magazine’s "Top 75 Golf Resorts in North America."  Part of the Vail Resorts family, Beaver Creek Golf Club is 100% powered by wind. Limited public play is offered in the early season. Resort play is offered from mid-June to mid-October for guests staying in Beaver Creek, Bachelor Gulch and Arrowhead. Visit www.beavercreek.com to book golf packages.

Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary - Beaver Creek Golf Course was named a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary in 2003 by the Audubon Society, meeting the Society's requirements to be designated as a wildlife sanctuary.  A small percentage of all golf courses in the United States have achieved this designation.  Beaver Creek aims to promote and practice environmental stewardship and provide golf maintenance and other resort services through an environmentally sound process.

RED SKY RANCH AND DAVID LEADBETTER GOLF ACADEMY 970/477.8400
www.redskygolfclub.com

In the company of some of the most prestigious golf courses in America, both courses at Red Sky Golf Club were ranked in the Top 100 golf courses to play in the United States in the September 2004 issue of Golf Magazine. Ranked at #1 in Colorado and at #25 in the U.S., Greg Norman’s 7,580-yard par 72 course is Norman’s only course in Colorado and is praised as "at once beautiful and brutal." Red Sky Golf Club also features a Tom Fazio-designed course and is open to guests staying in select properties in Beaver Creek. Red Sky Golf Club Academy is open to the public and offers two- and three-day clinics. Stay and play packages available at beavercreek.com.

Developed by Vail Resorts Development Company as part of the Red Sky Ranch luxury community, the Red Sky Golf Club is located just 15 miles west of Beaver Creek and offers two exceptional courses at Red Sky Golf Club. Part of the Vail Resorts family, Red Sky Ranch and Red Sky Golf Club are 100% powered by wind.

RED SKY GOLF CLUB

Red Sky Golf Club is an exclusive golf facility that was designed as a private membership club with limited guest access, featuring two championship courses designed by Tom Fazio and Greg Norman. Members and guests each enjoy their own clubhouse and alternate play daily between the Tom Fazio and Greg Norman courses.

The courses are separated by a massive ridge, which serves as a wildlife migration corridor for deer and elk. Great care has been taken to preserve the natural landscape, including transplanting or re-vegetation of more than 25,000 native plants during the construction of the Tom Fazio golf course alone. Approximately 80 acres of sod has been applied to each course, reducing the amount of fertilizer necessary for seed grow-in, and protecting the nearby Eagle River from silt erosion, which is common when seed is used. Both courses will be submitted for environmental certification with the Audubon Society.

Greg Norman Course

7,580 yards as proposed, Par 72 (elevation 7,880 feet)
The first Greg Norman course in Colorado
Opened June 30, 2003
Season: May to October 2007
Greg Norman allows the treasures of the landscape to dictate the flow of play. Craggy rock outcroppings, twisted knots of scrub oak, rugged gulches and wildflower meadows all create a unique golf experience. The course enjoys the Vail Valley’s finest sunsets silhouetting the majesty of Castle Peak. The 24,000 square foot Member Clubhouse overlooks the Greg Norman Course. It features lunch for members only with dining available to the public in the evenings, a lounge and bar, men’s and women’s locker rooms, a full-service pro shop, member-only driving range, outdoor swimming pool, bag storage, two tennis courts and a member boardroom. The Member Clubhouse (for use by members only) is home to the new Silver Sage restaurant, which is open to the public for dinner throughout the summer.
Golf Magazine Accolades
Golf Magazine's February 2004 issue called Greg Norman’s 7,580-yard par 72 course a  "terrific challenge." The course skillfully allows the treasures of the natural landscape to dictate the flow of play, resulting in an unparalleled wilderness golf experience at an elevation of 7,880 feet.
"The Shark has crafted a fair but demanding test for those who choose their tees sensibly," according to Golf Magazine. "But if you put valor before discretion and play for the tips, you’ll face a punishing 7,580 yards."

Tom Fazio Course

7,113 yards, Par 72 (elevation 7,650 feet)
Rated by the Golf Magazine's March 2003 issue as one of the Top 10 New Courses You Can Play for 2002.
Opened Summer 2002
Season: May - October 2007

Players make their way through open sage-covered hills and dense aspen forest. The dedicated 13,000 square foot Guest Clubhouse, located at the Tom Fazio Course, features a restaurant with both indoor and outdoor dining, a full-service pro shop, and locker rooms.
