PARK HYATT BEAVER CREEK COMPLETES $20 MILLION IMPROVEMENT

The Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa recently completed a $20 million hotel improvement plan that included the renovation of Allegria Spa and the reinvigoration of the hotel’s public areas, meeting facilities and guest accommodations. The rejuvenated Allegria Spa doubled in size to 30,000 square feet, and now features a soothing "Aqua Sanitas" water sanctuary. The new Allegria has 23 new treatment rooms, sophisticated water treatment areas, new reception space, enlarged fitness area and spa locker rooms located on the second level of the hotel. The addition of Aqua Sanitas positions Allegria Spa as visionary in the spa industry, leading the return to water focused treatments and experiences as well as employing the precious natural resources of Colorado. AVON’S RIVERFRONT VILLAGE UNDERWAY

The Avon Town Council recently approved the $500 million Riverfront Village mixed-use development, encompassing a gondola connection to the Beaver Creek Ski area, a 5.5 acre park along the Eagle River, and The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa that will serve as the first anchor of the Main Street project in the core area of town. The 285-key, full-service Westin condo hotel is one of just five such Westin ski resort hotel properties available. Construction is well underway and the project has been designed by Hornberger + Worstell architects of San Francisco. The hotel will include the 23,000 sq. ft. Spa Anjali and wellness center and the innovative Watermark Restaurant. The Riverfront Village project will strive for Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) certification from the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) on the hotel. The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa would be this area’s first LEED-certified project of this size. Principles include smart design to cut a building’s life cycle costs, energy conservation building techniques, use of recycled building materials and minimization of waste during construction and operation of buildings. The Westin Riverfront Resort & Spa is anticipated to open early fall of 2008.

ZACH’S CABIN

Zach’s Cabin is located in Bachelor Gulch. A beautiful log cabin with incredible views of the Gore Range, vaulted ceilings, a large stone fireplace and expansive deck makes it the perfect setting for group events and weddings. Zach's can accommodate up to 150 people with 100 in the main dining room and 50 in Gunder’s dining room downstairs.  Zach's Cabin is available for private functions only during the summertime.

ALLIE’S CABIN

Offering spectacular Beaver Creek Valley views, Allie’s Cabin is located in an aspen grove on Beaver Creek Mountain. Modeled after a cabin from the late 1800’s, Allie’s has a "turn of the century" rustic feeling with a large stone fireplace. Allie’s is closed to the public.  Allie's is available for private group events and weddings in the summer and winter.

BEANO’S CABIN

Enjoy a horseback, wagon, or van ride in the summer to Beano’s Cabin, Beaver Creek’s five star dining adventure. Beano’s is a recipient of Triple A Four Diamond Award, the DiRona Award, and the Wine Spectator Award of Excellence. Nestled among the aspen trees at the base of Larkspur Bowl on Beaver Creek Mountain, Beano’s has spectacular views of the challenging Grouse Mountain.  Beano's is open to the public for dinner in the summer and winter.  Beano's is available year-round for group events and weddings.

NEW BEAVER CREEK GOLF CLUBHOUSE

The newly renovated Beaver Creek Clubhouse is tucked away above the golf course in Beaver Creek Resort. A new restaurant will serve lunch for the public.  The restaurant will be available for group events and weddings starting Summer 2007. The Clubhouse is a charming location with spectacular village and valley views.

SPRUCE SADDLE LODGE

Spruce Saddle Lodge, located at the top of the Centennial Express Lift, is the largest and most complete on-mountain day lodge in Beaver Creek, offering a variety of dining options and other services. In the summer, the outdoor grill features traditional items like smoked brisket and barbecue pork as well as specialty vegetarian items. Burgers always taste better at 10,000 feet. An eighteen-hole disc golf course, volley ball and a variety of other lawn sports for kids are available in addition to bike rentals and guided hikes with the Beaver Creek Hiking Center. Spruce Saddle Lodge is the perfect location for private events as well. TOSCANINI

Experience upbeat, casual Italian Dining in Beaver Creek Resort. Toscanini is located in Market Square overlooking the excitement of the Black Family Ice Arena.
