2/3: Kinder Cup Challenge
For children ages six and under, the Kinder Cup may be the racing debut for Tahoe’s future Olympians. The first event of a three-race series, this event is open to all children ages six and under that are able to stop and turn on their own.
2/2-2/3: Far West Freestyle
Far West Freestyle is dedicated to the training and development of competitive freestyle skiers. As the regional freestyle representative of the United States Ski & Snowboard Association we organize competitions in Moguls, Big Air, Half Pipe, and Slopestyle which qualify skiers for national events, up to and including selection by the United States Olympic Team. Far West Freestyle is a volunteer organization with support from members, coaches, parents and our local communities.

Calling all RATS! This nighttime race league pits local teams against one another as they compete for points that turn into prizes at the end of the season. Any animosity melts away at the post-event video critique at a local pub. Fifth in a six-race series.
2/14: Valentine Sweetheart Race
Race your heart out at Heavenly’s annual Sweetheart Race. Race with or for that extra special someone in your life for a chance to win fabulous prizes.
2/23: Heavenly Jackpot Rail Jam Series
Top local freestyle athletes compete on special features built on World Cup by the Heavenly Terrain Park Crew in the hottest nighttime mountain event on the South Shore. Competitors are judged on the technical difficulty of their tricks with emphasis on style and smooth execution in hopes of walking away with a share of $1000 cash.

Watch as athletes compete with some of your favorite celebrities for the gold during this two-day event on World Cup. Spectator seating is available.

3/18-3/21: Southshore Soldiers Camp
Veteran professional snowboarder and Tahoe local Jimmy Halopoff dedicated this camp, the top ski and snowboard school in North America (according to Skiing Magazine), to providing an exciting on-hill environment where the ‘soldiers’ get personalized instruction from top pros and coaches in the private Soldiers Terrain Park. Off the snow, entertainment is in no short supply at nightly parties where guests live it up with some of the best professional skiers and snowboarders in the world. Southshore Soldiers “ride with the pros, learn from the pros, and party with the pros.”
3/21-4/5: SpringloadedCollegeWeek ‘08
Heavenly’s annual spring break skiing celebration. Hang with students from Northern California and Nevada during spring break and enjoy Tahoe's famous spring skiing and boarding conditions, student-only parties and discounts, rail jams and South Lakes' 24-hour nightlife!

4/5: Gunbarrel 25, Hosted by Glen Plake
Glen Plake will host his fifth-annual mogul marathon on North America’s toughest black-diamond bump run – The Gunbarrel. The event is designed to incorporate Plake’s passion for freestyle skiing with Heavenly’s legendary spring bumps. The event is open to everyone from competitive athletes to local “Face Rats” to the weekend bump skier.
4/12 Heavenly Jackpot Rail Jam Series Finals
