American Airlines rewards parents who book a vacation into the Vail/ Eagle Valley Regional Airport with their Kids Fly Free program. For each paid adult fare (age 18 and above), American is offering one free child’s ticket for ages 2-12 now through Feb. 13, 2009. Families must travel to the resort between Sunday and Wednesday and from the resort between Tuesday and Friday. This offer is valid for travel Dec. 2-12, 2008 and Jan. 4 - February 13, 2009 with no blackout dates. Vail’s FREE Mountain Welcome Tours
Vail will be offering the Mountain Welcome Tours this year in cooperation with the Colorado Ski Museum. The tours will leave Mid Vail (Look Ma Level Ski School Desk) and Eagle’s Nest (Game Creek Desk) at 11:00 am daily. There will also be greeters in the base areas at 10:30am every morning directing guests to our tour locations. The tour will give a little history about skiing and Vail Mountain along with an insider’s guide to the mountain. The tours are free and will be guided by our Community Guest Services personnel.
BlueSky Basin Tours take place at 11:00 am and depart from the top of Chair 11/ Northwoods Express Lift.
